For how long have you been trading?
I’ve been trading Forex for 7 years.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?
I use only basic indicators like MACD and RSI, otherwise I won’t be able to see a screen.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I trade mostly during the opening of London and US sessions.



Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

Everything comes only from my own experience.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Reading different forex-related forums is the best way.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

I use basic price-action patterns, trend lines, support/resistance levels and Japanese candles’ analysis. Trading shouldn’t be very complicated.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

The most important is patience.

How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

From my side I put stop losses, that’s why there is no any pressure, but stop loss should be set correctly. We really don’t know will the trend develop or not.

I’d like to see even faster withdrawals.

I’ve been trading since 2009.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

My favorite instruments are EUR/USD and GBP/USD.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I always trade during Asian session.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have read a lot of traders’ blogs. Most of my knowledge came from there. I have also watched a lots of videos what are teaching trading strategies. I copied some strategies and improved those.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Experience of course and learning materials.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

Yes, I have my own strategy which is very complicated to explain. I use mixed strategies combined with lots of different Indicators, Expert Advisor and manual trading.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

There are few of them that are very important. Most important quality is patience.The second one is ability to learn different trading skills and understanding financial markets.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

As a trader you have to be prepared to take risks and losses.

I am extremely satisfied with you services. I tried many brokers for my long trading career and coul not find any better. I hope that you add some online trading platforms in the future.

For how long have you been trading?

I’ve been trading over 10 years.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

My favourite instruments are EURUSD and USDJPY. I like those pairs because those are liquid have low spread, and most importantly, my methods work on them.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

Mid New York session to the start of European session.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

My father has been a part-time stock trader all his life and he introduced me to the trading scene. I’ve been researching my own methods ever since.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Dive in, trade, and find your own ways.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

I’ve created my own, but it derives from many well-known concepts. My strategies are mainly price-action based technical methods. I try to “feel” the market and I have very little reliance on indicators.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

I think this is a complicated question. I suppose self-control is the fundamental piece of the puzzle. Whether you manage this through discipline, confidence, or building your own robot, everyone must find their own ways to battle the various emotions.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

Losses still impact me emotionally. I try to sleep on it and carry-on the next day.

I am very satisfied with your services. I wish Tickmill can organize more community events like this contest to build a healthy, engaging community.

For how long have you been trading?

I have been trading 10 years with options, futures, 2 years with FX (Forex)


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

Mostly I trade CHF pairs. Sometimes also EUR/USD. I like FX because of high leverage and market is always open.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I trade the early hours during Asian session, and when London and U.S. Markets are open. London opening hours are too erratic and volatile in my opinion.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

Largely I have been educating by myself. I do attend seminars on a regular basis.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

In my opinion, a structured course where you can learn the basics and technical analysis. Then learn strategies from a ‘guru’ and form your own opinions and strategies. The markets are dynamic. You have to continually learn new strategies to take advantage of the market and evolve as a trader.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

Strategies
– I trade the news, usually job numbers (NFP, ADP etc)
– Price action. I use pivot points, support and resistance, fibonacci levels, 4 period EMA


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Separate your ego from trading. Be disciplined and cut your losses.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

I hate to lose in anything! But even the best systems have losses. Get over the loss, you can’t change the past, stay focused and move on.

I’ve tried many brokers, Tickmill gives low spreads, fast execution speed.

For how long have you been trading?

I have been trading since I graduated high school, almost 3 years now.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

I like GBP/USD pair because it works best with trading system I use.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I trade during all sessions Tokyo session, London session and New York session. I am trading different pairs during each session.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have learned on my own. I have done a lot of market research.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

The best education for a trader is education which has clear basic theories and can be implemented directly on the Live market. Emphasis should be on discipline because it’s very good for traders who want to enter the market.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

I use strategy that already exists. I am using Elliot wave indicator combined with Fibonacci indicator.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

The most important quality a trader should have are the right mindset about the market. Also commitment and discipline.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

I don’t have emotional impact when get the losses because of I have calculated exact amount potential loss I am willing to lose, before I enter to the trade.

Are you satisfied with our service and is there anything we can improve?

For how long have you been trading?

Approximately I have been trading 1 year.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

I prefer trading mainly EUR/USD due to low spreads, and high around the clock liquidity.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

No specific hours, however I do try and avoid volatile periods such as Big News Events, or opening positions on Friday and leaving them open over the weekend.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I’m a Self Educated aspiring Trader.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Experience, in other word trading the markets is the best way to improve. I’m a hands on learner.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

My strategy try’s to take advantage of big momentum created during Breakouts of key Resistance/Support Levels.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Faith followed closely by Perseverance.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

I try and keep a cool mind and remind myself that I’m not trading to get rich overnight. I am trading for long-term results, I look for good Risk to Reward trades.

Overall it is good, when scalping there is the occasional slippage but not much.

For how long have you been trading?

I started trading on financial markets on 2008. I started with stocks and had a success. It was a total surprise to me. I wanted more and moved on to futures contracts. Futures market is very vast and risky, so I lost everything within several days. After that I moved on to Forex. It took several years and some losses to understand how to trade.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

In my trading I use one-hour timeframe. I closely watch major and commodity pairs like AUD & CAD.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

Mainly I trade during European session sometimes also during NY session.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

Yes, I had several training courses, but it is a waste of time if you compare it to real market experience, which is the best teacher, but it’s also the most expensive one.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Trading on real market.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

I use my own strategy and I also modify the existing ones. In both ways my personal experience makes some modifications to every strategy.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Forex teaches us a lot, especially to be patient, be able to wait and show less emotions. Forex also calms down our greed. These are the most important abilities for a trader


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

Of course I have losses, it’s impossible to trade without them. Sure it makes me sad, but I try to think that losing a couple of battles is inevitable, the most important thing is to win the whole war. It helps me to get profit in my next trades.


Are you satisfied with our service and is there anything we can improve?

Although I’m really satisfied with your company, there are some things I’d like to suggest:

-Remove withdrawal commissions
-Make possible to easily convert deposit currency into another currency (Russian Rouble, for example) with a favourable inner quote. You could earn on such transactions.

For how long have you been trading?

I have been trading forex for 3 years.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

I like to trade EUR/USD, because of it has high liquidity and you have really low transaction costs on that pair.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I do not have a specific trading session. Normally I do not trade the Asian session, as the volatility is too small. With low volatility trading becomes really boring for me.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have not received personal training. I have learned Forex trading on my own.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

You have to adhere to discipline. For example if the price reaches to you stop-loss price, then the order should be closed immediately.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

I don’t have particular trading strategies. I try to find good entries by following a marker follow a trend. Trend is your friend you should follow it, otherwise the trend becomes your enemy. This is my rules that I follow strictly when I am trading.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Trader should be able to be focused on trading and be able to make decisions when needed.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

If I lose a trade then it impacts me emotionally. Even after a loss I will always follow to my trading strategy.

I’m hoping that you can increase the leverage of some Minors & Exotics pairs.

For how long have you been trading?

I have been trading Forex more than 5 years.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

I prefer to trade EUR/USD because it’s very volatile pair and suits with my strategy.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I am trading during all sessions: Asian, European and U.S. session.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have been learning from another Trader. I am also participating in different Forex communities.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

I think the most important thing is experience. I would like to stress that there are many misconceptions about Forex trading.

For example:
“Trading is a way to get rich quickly” – It’s possible earn profit but it’s not going to happen overnight.
“Trading is gambling” – Trading is not gambling if you have a strategy and you are following it by managing risks correctly.
“Trading part time is easy” – My opinion is that trading should be taken as full time job.

I have developed my own strategy, I am using different indicators.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

In my opinion trader should have a predetermined goal. Trader should be able to keep emotions under control.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

If you are trading then losses occur. Because of good risk management I am able to keep my emotions under control.

For how long have you been trading?

I have been trading on Forex market more than 3 years.


What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

My favorite pair is EUR/USD. I like it because it’s volatile and thus it’s easier for me to make decisions.


What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I do not have a specific schedule for trading. I trade whenever opportunity presents itself.


Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have learned on my own.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

I think the most important is trading experience. As all traders I have had some margin calls. I have taken those as a big lesson and learned each of those.


Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

Firstly I determine a trend. Then I open positions according to the trend. If trend reverses then I will close some or all positions.


What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Trader should be able to maintain emotional control. Biggest risk is when trader starts to open positions based on emotions.


How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

If you have a have a good or bad day then it helps if I take some time off to keep my emotions under control.

I am really happy with your trading conditions. Sometimes during big news events I have experienced some slippage. It would be great if you could minimize it even more.
